Hawaii Here we Come

I have never in my life wanted to go to Hawaii. OK, maybe once when I was in Middle School, but other than that...nope, no way. I did live in Panama for three years and that is a very tropical life, so maybe that is why I still have no desire to go there. I know everyone says it is so beautiful and I believe them, just.....no desire.

But then, what happens..... my wonderful daughter goes and gets married and moves to of all places Hawaii. Well, I have to go and visit her and since she is in Hawaii, I am now on my way there. Mark and I leave this Wednesday, 24 June and I am really excited. Now, of course I can't wait to see Amanda and meet her dog Kai, (unfortunately, Gil is in Afghanistan, or I would be excited about seeing him also) but, I am actually excited about being in Hawaii also. I am looking forward to the sun, walking on the beach and checking out the food.

Maybe I should take a before and after photo of me with no sun and then hopefully a bit of that Hawaiian sun.
